This is our call for a Bi-Annual Panel of worldwide experts on “Parental Alienation” ( a commonly held colloquial term for diagnosable mental health issues related to parent child relationships in divorce, separation ).
As the family is the bedrock and least indivisible unit of societies, cultures and nations of the world this truly is an epidemic. For a child no matter the culture, country, to thrive, prosper there is no better response than the love, guidance and wisdom of their birth parents and extended family. Study after study, generation after generation from time immemorial prove this simple fact of human beings.
Bringing together world experts on “Parental Alienation” or the pathologies as outlined in the current DSM 5 and ICD 11 to present papers on current standards, knowledge and testing to confirm where, we as a collective of the brightest minds, are in our understanding of this.
The sharing of progress made in various countries, solutions sought, and outcomes is of utmost importance to the ending of “PA”. This is a mental health crisis.
Human beings as a species have shown time and time again that we are best at focused efforts to become aware of, resolve and eradicate threats. The ensuring that children born are allowed to love and be loved by both parents, that impediments to this basic right, this "foundation of being" are not infringed. That the forces, psycho-dynamics afoot in not only families, but society at large are acknowledge, addressed and treated.
Sadly as noted in our blog “Who Protects Children” a Wiki time line from 1800 to 2013 demonstrates the lack of United States government intervention in. It clearly shows it is organizations, unions and other concerned persons who have always acted for the betterment of children, the passing of laws.
The above organizations, non-profits, NGO’s continue to follow in those footsteps and are calling for you to “Join your Voice” in our call for a worldwide response on this worldwide stage to address this worldwide epidemic.
